You have 4 GB of RAM on board, while the internal storage options include 32 GB and 64 GB. The phone has two 4G LTE- supported SIM slots. The phone gets Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box, and the 5.5-inch touchscreen display is pretty responsive and crisp as far as color saturation is concerned. It features the “BiLogin” technology, which means you can use the phone a dual mode. The metal body is designed to handle the daily bumps, and the design feels pretty sturdy and effective. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. As for the color options, you have two choices – Gold and Rose Gold, and both look quite attractive. It features an 8 MP camera on the front and twin 13-megapixel cameras on the back.

Verdict

Coolpad Cool 1 is one of the best devices for the price point of 10k, and you get a display that’s better than some of the models of the same category. The Non-removable Li-Ion 4060 mAh battery offers decent power for most of the app switching work. The only downside is the lack of expandable memory, which can be a bummer if you opt for the 32 GB variant. However, as far as the processor and RAM is concerned, the device is extremely handy and works wonders for regular work.  As we reviewed the product, there were no lags while playing games like Subway Surfer or Candy Crush. The camera performance might not be the best in class, but is credible enough.

Currently, Coolpad Cool 1 is available on a discount online. In fact, you can get most models, including iPhone 6 and Nokia 8, on a discount during the holiday sale. Overall, Coolpad Cool 1 is a decent buy for the price. It may not seem to have the brand backing as expected, but works well in most departments.
